One of the best Alfred's I've been to. Workers were super nice and patient even though it was very busy. I don't think this place is very accessibility friendly because it looked like the only way to get in was with stairs unless there is a hidden elevator. I got the seasonal drink which if I'm being honestly I forget the name. It was supposed to come with a cream too which they forgot. The worker recommended the onion bagel which I got and it was so yummy. Sweet onion with whipped cream cheese was a perfect brekkie.

I always hear everyone raging about Alfred's matcha so I added this as one of my places to go on my LA trip. As a matcha lover I must say this was some good matcha! I got a lavender matcha with oatmilk and it did not disappoint. You can taste the good quality matcha. Definitely recommend. ** the only thing I didn't like is that there was no bathroom. The melrose location is adorable. There's a ton of seating for a coffee spot, but it can fill up quickly due to the quality of the coffee and the overall vibe of the spot. It's a great place to meet up with a friend d after shopping for a bit to have a quick chat. The service was excellent, of course. The Mont blanc crème coffee with oat milk was a dream with the chocolate madeleine. I'd def recommend coming early but it's pleasant in the afternoon as well
